A Catholic Review of the Week

America is a weekly Catholic journal of opinion that has appeared continuously since April 17, 1909. The founder was John J. Wynne, S.J. (1859-1948), who also conceived the idea of the Catholic Encyclopedia, the first volume of which appeared in 1907 under his direction. From 1892 Wynne edited a devotional Catholic monthly, The Messenger of the Sacred Heart.

Jesuitical: A podcast for young Catholics

Jesuitical is a podcast from America Media hosted by two young, hip and lay editors: Ashley McKinless and Zac Davis.

Each episode brings some of the top (and maybe more obscure) Catholic news of the week and an interview with a guest who offers a unique perspective on world events, culture or faith. At the end of the show, Zac and Ashley invite the listener into their faith lives by sharing their consolations and desolations from the week.
